Superpowers.

We all grow up wishing that we would turn out to be like Harry Potter, we would turn thirteen and suddenly be magic in some way or another. A mere child's dream to fly, to have super strength, or maybe even to be invisible. The child in all of us just silently wishing for that one glimmer of the supernatural. I myself have always wanted to read minds.

I was born with the misfortune of being with out the amazing ability to do so. I was also born with an annoying twin brother. I would always get the question, "So, can you read each others minds?" well, I'm telling you now, that never has, nor it seems ever will, occur. So, all my life i was hoping that my brother and I would have that "twin connection" where we could have telepathy, or an instance when we knew what the other was thinking whenever they had any notion of a thought. So you could suppose that my hopes of reading minds branched from that.

Think about it, how fantastic would it be if you could tell if someone is lying to you? For you to always be able to know the truth? Obviously the ability has its down points, such as knowing too much information, or knowing information you never wanted in the first place, but all in all, it would be a technique that would have so many possitive details. For example, you could be a detective, and find oout a plethora of information. If I could read minds, I would have no secrets, too bad for the person on the recieving end, but for me, bring it on.
